As you may have noticed, my website's home image has been changed, suggesting something's going to happen... but what? Well that's the news: next week I will officially open the pre-order session of my first giclée limited edition series, depicting three of my artworks selected after a toll on my official Facebook page. The pre-order will last just a month, and will be hosted by the crowdfungin platform indiegogo. It will give the opportunity to everybody to pre-order one or more copies of the editions with a special discount of 25% on the final retail price, plus some special perks and the possibility to even buy the original artworks. The funding should allow me to cover the expenses for professional scanning of my artworks and hi quality state-of-the-art professional fine art printing, so please don't be shy and not keep the occasion to pre-order your very own copy of my artwork in an incredible special price... Hope to see you in march the 1st - meanwhile please spread the word, and keep tuned! Add Comment I'm happy to announce that the underground and urban gallery in Milan Avantgarden Gallery has selected me as its winning artist in the contemporary art prize "Premio Ora". I'm very proud of this achievement. I can't wait to work with such a good gallery (whose artist's quality really represents a challenge for me) and I'll do my best to be up to expectations. Here are the names of all the winning and selected artists (the 20 winning artists will have a two-week solo show in the gallery concerned, while the 40 selected will all be featured, along with the winners, in the prize catalogue that will be published in the early weeks of 2012): Winning artists: Claudia Campus for 3)5 Arte Contemporanea Marco La Rosa for Adiacence Flavio Romualdo Garofano for Artway Gallery Vacon Sartirani for Avantgarden Gallery Annalù for Castellano Arte Andrea Marcoccia for Contemporanea Bruno Marrapodi for De Faveri Arte Agnese Guido for Galleria Delle Battaglie Andreas Senoner for Galleria Marchina Fabiano De Martin Topranin for Galleria Marconi Angela Viola for Galleria Marelia Silvia Cicconi for Galleria Wabi Claudia Maina for Gestalt Stefano Bolcato for GiaMaArt Studio TTozoi for LakeSide Gallery Marie-Michelle Letelier for Perlini Arte Pietro Marchese for SourMilk Gallery Claudio Cavallaro for Sponge Arte Contemporanea Silvia Mei for Underdog Studio Enrico Piras for Zelle Arte Contemporanea Selected artists: Alfredo Aceto Franco Anzelmo Nicola Aramu Simona Barbagallo Giuseppe Biguzzi Marco Bolognesi Pietro Broggini Gian Marco Capraro Carlo Colli Carlo D'Orta Daniele Duò Ellepluselle Armando Fanelli Robert Frankle Tea Giobbio Cristina Gori Maurizio L'Altrella Ivan Lardschneider Marina Legovini Virginia Lopez Sara Magni Alessandra Maio Sabrina Marconi Ilaria Margutti Alessandro Martinelli Andrea Martinucci Jara Marzulli Sabrina Mazzuoli Marco Milia Igor Molin Giordano Rizzardi Piero Roccasalvo Jennifer Rosa Andrea Rosset Manlio Sacco Natalia Saurin Stefano Scheda Rossana Taormina Alessandro Vitali Giulio Zanet Cell 63 Art Gallery, Neukölln Berlin "This is A POP WORLD!" 12th November - 17th December Opening Saturday 12th November h 20:00 - 23:00 facebook page CELL63 official site Pop music, pop art, pop culture. Pop is a familiar label, describing contemporary complex scenarios, depositary of symbolic plots hardly decodable by the human eye. Cell63 Art Gallery is proud to present “This is a POP WORLD!”, a three-person exhibition featuring work from Vacon Sartirani, Isabelle Gabrijel and Andreas Fischbach. Open November 12th through December 17th , the exhibition aims to focus on the visual saturation of contemporary society through the distinct sensibilities of three artists and their different background. Shapes, colors and atmospheres borrowed from mass culture, and disposed into a puzzle built up with ironic pieces. A diverse body of artwork revolving around one common topic: alienation. That same alienation generated by the excessive acquisition of goods and artificially created needs, which has reached a point of individual saturation and mental block. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a POP WORLD! vom 12.11. bis 17.12. Pop Musik, Pop art, Pop-Kultur. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For further informations about the exhibition, the artists or inquire about the artworks on sale please contact luisa@cell63.com Cell63 Artgallery Opening hours Tue-Fri+2nd&4thSat 14H00-19H00 +49 30 21973329 Selected for Alterazioni Festival 2011 02/06/2011
